I can't believe it has been 50 years, and that we have lost so many classmates!  Or that I am still here.

Anyway, "You can only be young once, but you can be immature forever!"

Still in Oak Park.  Never got around to leaving.

See you at the reunion.

I live in Wellesley, MA (Boston suburb), with my wife Lisa, 3 kids, a faithful dog and 2 useless cats.  I also practice law there, having practiced in Boston for most of my career.  Saw many of you at the 40th and am looking forward to repeating (and expanding) that wonderful experience at the 50th.  College in NJ, law school in Boston, a brief stint with the feds in D.C. and then back to Boston, where I have stayed for 41 years.  I love the ocean, the mountains and the landscape of New England, and I shifted my allegiance to the Pats and Red Sox, but I miss the food (especially "beefs," Vienna hot dogs and deep dish pizza), the beautiful city of Chicago and the midwestern friendliness of the folks who live there.    Send Neal a MessageSend Neal a Message

I'm a certified public accountant.  I have an MPA from NIU, and a CRCP from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania.  I worked for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for 33 years where I was an assistant director of the SEC's nine-state Chicago Region.  While employed at the SEC, I worked in Kazakhstan and Bahrain, but primarily at locations in the U.S., mostly in the midwest.  After more than 40 years as a federal employee, I am now retired. Since retiring, I volunteer for Northwest Families for Life, and spend the remainder of my time trying to retain my ability to walk. Send J. Gary a MessageSend J. Gary a Message

I am a retired Merchant Marine Deck officer, having sailed on the Great Lakes for 35 years. I retired in October 2014. I started as a deckhand on the SS MAXINE for Wisconsin Steel in mid 1979. I eventually went to the Inland Steel Fleet in Sept. 1979, and stayed there for 35 years. I worked up from deckhand, thru the various Deck Officer ranks, was briefly Master on the JOSEPH L. BLOCK and the WILFRED SYKES. I retired as First Mate on the SYKES. After OPRF, I attended Triton College. While going there, I worked part time in the North Suburban Postal Facility in River Grove. I worked up thru the ranks to General Forman, Platform Transportation. Things got a little too crazy there with the consolidation of several facilities, so I searched and  found my true calling as a Seaman. I did have one positive experience at the Post Office...my Instructor was the lady I eventually married. Her name is Elena. We have one grown son, Erik. We will be celebrating our 49th Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 2nd. We can't make it to the reunion, but will be with you in spirit. Enjoy.....and GO HUSKIES! I'm the guy in the middle in the NOW photo, and my wife Elena is next to me. We are with my shipmate Brad at his cottage in Cedarville, Mi., a few miles from our home. We were very fortunate to have received such a great high school experience. It has been fun catching up with former, I won't say old, classmates. Send Marcia a MessageSend Marcia a Message

On the day of our reunion I will be exactly 70 days from retirement (but who's counting?).  Seems fitting to begin the next new chapter of life by revisiting a favorite old one.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all! Send John a MessageSend John a Message
